My first post.

My name is Lily and I have always loved sweet things. I love cakes/cookies/buns and decided I didnt want to spend anymore money at the food markets at weekends and would bake them myself. That was less than 2 years ago when we moved into our first home and I havent looked back. I can honestly say I bake 50% for the taste and 50% for the compliments I seek out very obviously. I baked 9 cakes for my wedding in July and will post a few pics on this blog and I was far more interested in peoples opinion of the cakes than anything else! I hope you enjoy. My posts in November are a mix of lots of things I have baked over the last year and a half. I should probably not mention that and let everyone think I baked it all in November!
